ABOUT BOB

I graduated from the University of Detroit High School (now called U. of D Jesuit High School and Academy) in 1968 and after a year attending John Carroll University in Cleveland, transferred to Michigan State University, where I graduated Cum Laudé in December, 1971.

After Graduation I began working with my father in Michigan as a sales rep. for the Microdot Companies and Lewis Screw. Microdot consisted of two divisions at the time, Everlock and Greer. Not long after I started we began selling for Acimet Mfg., a manufacturer of large diameter bolts and nuts. With our territory expanded by both Greer and Acimet to include Eastern Canada, I moved to the Toronto area April 1, 1974. For the next 12 years I developed business with both industrial and automotive subcontractors as I formed my own Canadian company. In 1976 I began to specialize in the aerospace business and handled Litton Fastening Systems. In 1981 I began to cover all the automotive accounts for Microdot and have specialized in that market segment ever since. In 1986 I added Rick Roberts and Daniel Cloutier to the agency. Rick was formerly from Dupont and Daniel had worked directly for ESNA. After a few years Cloutier went on his own and Rick and I handled the territory together until 1998. I have been working with Dennis Young on some automotive accounts since 1997. Tony Berdini joined my organization in 1999.
